Personally, I prefer good written notes to videos. Its most likely required because there are a lot of EE classes that require physics knowledge and having a strong background in physics will no doubt help in these classes.

The prelectures are supposed to be conceptual, though, you don’t get to real examples until you’ve been taught the material in depth lecture –again I believe the point of the prelectures is complementary, not supplementary.
